The Nature of Success Intelligence

The concept of ominipreneurship was well elaborated by Amr Al-Dabbagh in his book ‘Ominipreneurship’ and that it is “an approach to building a meaningful life…and that it applies equally to every realm of activity, whether you are operating in business, the public sector, the non-profit world, your family, or your own personal world”.

An Ominipreneur is a person who has the ability, the intelligence and willingness to succeed in all arena of life from family to faith, business and relationships, public and philanthropic life. While entrepreneurship is only concern with business success, ominipreneurship is concerned with all aspects of life describing a person as a familypreneur who succeeds in keeping family together and making everybody happy and blessed; an entrepreneur who succeeds in the business environment, breaking new grounds and innovating always, having the ability to grow businesses and manage enterprises, generating and distributing wealth without prejudice to the stakeholders; a governpreneur which is the ability to manage and sustain cultural, social, political and traditional lives of an organization, a state or a nation without the display of any self-seeking ambition but working astutely to attain corporate or national goals; a sociopreneur where an individual possesses ‘people skills’, a lovely symbiotic environment is created and relationship with every member of the society is positive, such an individual is productive without rift or disharmony. It is with unusual display of integrity, trust, love, respect, truthfulness and social harmony, building a frictionless interaction among people in a community of endeavour be it family circle, business space, religious environment or governmental area; a Philantropreneur where there is an unmatchable display of compassion and love for the less privileged in the society and helping the lowly placed to achieve their daily needs, helping to make education accessible to indigent children, bringing food to the table of many that are incapable and creating jobs for active people in the society while putting smile to the faces of the aged and many more in the concept of –preneurship.

The concept of ominipreneurship is achieved when an individual possesses success intelligence. What then is Success Intelligence?

What is Success Intelligence (SI)?

In 1983, Howard Gardner expounded on the theory of multiple intelligence from his book Frames of the Minds and that each individual possesses a unique blend of all the intelligence rather than limiting learners to specific intelligence. Gardner liberated the world of intellectualism from being myopic about intelligence and the fact that every individual has specific biorhythm, I don’t have to be a genius in mathematics to be successful in business, I only need to take a blend of Arithmetic with other skills to make a giant stride in business. It is upon this tenet of Gardner teaching that success intelligence is proposed, it is a blend of scoops of various intelligence in a cup of abilities that will take any human to the pinnacle of the chosen vocation.

Success Intelligence is a basket of abilities possessed by an individual that drives the person’s action and inaction toward success in all arena of life. Success intelligence is also closely related to the concept of ominipreneurship and can simply be said that success intelligence is the precursor of ominipreneurship. When a person train and become success intelligent, such an individual will be successful in all ramifications of life and hence success intelligence basket carries in it multi-faced and multi-dynamic abilities such as social power, cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, entrepreneurial perspicacity and Grit.

These are the rays in the packet that make a photon called success intelligence which is a laser-like packet of abilities that will penetrate every difficult situation of life to achieve success. When all these abilities are harmonized in one discrete packet with same wavelength, they generate a vibrational energy that will make an individual break barriers and climb to the pinnacle of chosen vocation.

It does not matter your colour, your environment and your country, your family alignment notwithstanding, if you possess the attributes of Success Intelligence, you will win. Success intelligence is always a code in the nurtured DNA of every successful entrepreneur, inventor or innovator, true politicians and civil crusaders. Most of the greatest people of all times exhibited these traits and that distinguished them from the crowd. It is worthy to note therefore that less than one per cent of the society builds these instincts and that is what has made up the global inequality index today whereas as at 2015, less than one per cent of the world populations own and controls over fifty per cent of the global wealth and precisely according to Oxfam website of 18th January 2016, 62 people own same as half world. Worst still is the publication of the same organization in 2018 that “Last year, the poorest half of the world became 11% poorer, while billionaires' fortunes rose 12% - or $2.5 billion every day. The gap between the richest and poorest people is growing. While people at the top get influence, opportunities and power, the poorest people miss out on the basics they need - like schools, jobs and healthcare.” This is mind blowing but not surprising because that percentage represents those that exist in the society that are ready to take the giant stride, work hard, think hard and dare hard to make the world a better place in whatever they do.

Google as a corporation has contributed tremendously to making this planet a changed place leading innovations and disruptions in technology, altering the way we reason, relate and react which is why Larry Page and Sergey Brin are atop the list of the richest persons on earth. Imagine a world of computing without Microsoft inputs, Bill Gates is therefore benefiting from the seed of contribution that has brought him to the sphere of influence and affluence of his generation. Jeff Bezos has contributed to our contemporary way of shopping using the online resources and the Alexa is also making us lazy while everyone now want to have a smart home which changed Jeff to been enlisted as the richest man of our planet and generation as at 2018. David Filo talking about the company he created with Jerry Yang he said “thousands of people were producing new web sites every day. We were just trying to take all that stuff and organize it to make it useful” and at another time he said “we’re not in this for the fast money. Really, what we want is to be part of this industry”. The company David created with Jerry is Yahoo!. Yahoo! Was created out of passion for contribution and today, ‘Money is Following’ the founders who had no intention of ‘Following the Money’....
